What is i-Panel?

i-Panel decorative ceiling panels are waterproof and very easy to clean and maintain, which makes them ideal for wet-room areas like bathrooms, toilets, kitchens, basements, garages and all other living areas. So especially in damp and moist areas our paneling is an excellent alternative to decorate your ceiling effectively and completely waterproof.

i-Panel ceiling sheets ceiling sheet has first been used in Belgium, Holland and France for over 30 years. Since then, it has been gaining popularity in more and more countries. So our products have proven their reliability over the years. Many of our products have the necessary building certificates.

What sizes does the i-Panel ceiling sheets come in? What designs?

i-Panel ceiling sheets is available mainly in popular length of 1.20 m, 8 inches width & mainly designs Substitute to wood ceiling. Our standard product range is called i-panel ceiling sheets

What is the maximum temperature for i-panel ceiling sheets ?

Our i-Panel can withstand a maximum continuous temperature of 60°C. In this way, i-Panel can be used as a wash room ceiling panel, but they cannot be used in saunas. Ceiling lights can be built in. When installing halogen lamps holes may be drilled in the panels. The contact temperature with the halogen spot may not exceed 60°C. Ensure that a space is always left of at least 10 mm between the halogen lamp and the panels to prevent distortion of the panel. The halogen spot must never be aimed at the panels Also pay attention that the light fittings conform to the legal regulations and that the fitting does not conduct the heat from the light bulb to prevent distortion to the panel.

How do i-Panel ceiling sheets compare price-wise to wood panels?

Yes, we are able to offer our i-Panel ceiling sheets range at very competitive prices. Obviously, wood come in all sizes and prices, but due to the fact that i-panel ceiling sheets take only about half the time to fit as wood panel, you will save on installation costs. Whether you are employing a fitter, or doing it yourself, you will save money!

Is it easy to install i-Panel products yourself?

i-Panel ceiling sheets are easy to install by the average DIYer. Panels can be cut by using a saw (manual or electric) or a sharp knife.

How do I cut i-Panel ceiling sheets ?

i-Panel can be easily cut or trimmed using a hand saw, table saw, portable circular saw, sabre saw or sharp utility knife. Caution – take appropriate precautions when using any cutting tools.

How do you cope with edges and corners? Are there any accessories?

There are many trims to finish edges and inside/outside corners. Ceiling trims are provided for that extra finishing touch. Alternatively, many of the panels can be scored at the back-end with a knife and folded neatly round an inside or outside corner.

Can I install (halogen) lights into my PVC ceiling?

How do I clean and maintain my i-Panel ceiling sheets ?

Use ordinary household products for maintenance. You can polish the panels to their original condition using a soft, non-abrasive cleaning agent. Usually you only need a damp cloth to clean the panels thoroughly. Do not use abrasive, aggressive substances or cleaning products based on chloride. Solvents should also not be used. Adhesive residue or pen marks are best removed using isopropyl-alcohol.

Can i-Panel ceiling sheets be recycled?

Yes, i-Panel ceiling sheets can be recycled and can usually be taken to any facility where plastic recycling is done.
